The First© Lego© League is a science and robotics championship for children aged 9 to 16, organized in Italy by the Foundation of the Civic Museum of Rovereto, which this year has proposed a scientific challenge on the theme of water. The event is international and the Italian winners will soon compete for the world title with the other winning schools.
The Veronese team, composed of 10 students of the third classes of the Don Bosco applied sciences high school, won the gold medal by surpassing other 31 school-teams selected among 150 teams throughout Italy, challenging each other on different types of competition: the robotics competition, the presentation of a scientific project, the robot design and the core values First® Lego® League.
The next stop for the Don Bosco Salesian Institute in Verona is the First© Lego© League World Festival, the world final scheduled in Detroit on 25-28 April 2018, where they will represent Italy against the other first-class schools of the other countries of the world.
