To Be Verona is a territorial marketing project, founded in 2011 by Assimp, Association between entrepreneurs and professionals of Verona. It is not a "tourist" project, but is based on innovation, business and using local talents and cultural human resources to best advantage, with a view to making Verona a smart land that is a model for Italy and a base for internationalisation. Verona boasts a heritage of enormous value, developed over thousands of years, ready to travel and to provide a new driver for growth, a base from which to launch its image in the eyes of investors both in Italy and abroad.
Starting with a survey of Verona's perceptions in the world, it has as its first goal to coordinate all the "nourishment" of Verona in one direction to communicate a new identity to this city, rich in important ideas and with an enviable position, still linked to a traditional making.
The second goal was born from the reflection that everything is changing fast and the economy of the future is being created in cities that want to bring innovation. To give space to innovation to be valued becomes fundamental; let them know and share in a smart land like Verona, and possibly enclose them in a place.
Mission
Our mission is to pave a well-defined way towards the future, start a new era in which Verona is not just a tourist attraction, but a smart land where quality of life goes hand in hand with the surrounding environment.
To Be Verona wants to organize the Verona area as a smart network, where active citizens equipped with new solutions shape a new image of the city characterized by strength and solidarity: high quality of life for its citizens, its visitors and all those who work, innovate and invest in Verona.
To Be Verona allows you to imagine, describe and observe the Verona area, while highlighting all its peculiarities and ensuring the sustainable development and growth of long-lasting ideas and initiatives.
Vision
The Verona area will be increasingly opened towards the world, by encouraging the development of ideas and projects to boost the wellbeing of the city and its businesses, and sharpen its resources to prepare it for a future that’s already here, and for the new 4.0 industrial organisation.
